First Day of Pre-K

Last Friday was Caleb's first day of Pre-K at Kindercare. For the next year, he'll be getting used to the schedules and rhythms of Kindergarten before he actually starts. It's a 20 to 1 count (between kids versus teachers) and he'll be exposed to many many more kids his age.

If only he knows how for the next 20 years, he'll be in school! :)

Night Out

We had a date night on Saturday where we went out to eat and went dancing....here are the pics. Caleb spent those hours at our neighbors' house and when we rolled up around 1:30am, a second later he was walking down the driveway. He already had his shoes on and everything. I was so surprised that he was awake at all! This Friday Caleb starts Pre-K at Kindercare. My little boy's getting so big!

Swimming with Zachary

The Sherrons kindly invited us to their pool a few weekends ago and Caleb always has a blast with Zachary. It's amazing how time is flying by and seeing these boys grow up makes me all teary. It was hot and the pool felt wonderful. The hospitality of the Sherrons is unparalleled.

Girls Night Out

We had a girls night out on the weekend....it was supposed to be for Aylin's birthday but due to storms rolling through the area, it was suggested that we postpone till later in August...but the 3 of us decided to go out anyways....we had a great time! Had some food, had some drinks, some interesting conversations with some interesting strangers...all in all, an interesting night ;)

The Wallace Twins First Birthday

The Wallace twins turned one! Kristen and Stan did a great job throwing a party for them and it's always nice when we all have an excuse to get together as a group.

Beach Trip 2010!

We went to Nags Head in the Outer Banks this year with the Wallaces and the Styons. The kids had a blast and more importantly the adults had a blast....especially after kids bedtimes in the outdoor hottub. A hottub after a long day laying around in the sand is heavenly.

Easter Pics

This year we celebrated Easter with the Styons family. We visited their church and then spent the afternoon with the kids hunting for easter eggs.

Aviators

I just HAD to post this pic...we were at the
optometrist getting new glasses (and contacts for Jay) and they threw in a free pair of Sketchers aviator sunglasses for Caleb....he put them on and said "Mom! I look like a rockstar!" :D

Frankies

We took Caleb to Frankies this past weekend. Sorry about the 'no-posts' since the last month.....I've been so busy with the new job etc. that I've been very slack about downloading pics.

He had a blast and there were tons of activities for him to do although he liked bowling and racing video games the best.
