Riley's Birthday Party

This past weekend, we went to Riley's, (my friend Heather from work's son) 7th birthday party. It was at the Palace Pointe bowling alley in Durham and it was the first time that Caleb had bowled! We told him that it was just like Wii bowling (that he played at GungGung's house) and he had a ball. He had the whole run and drop tactic down packed. :) It was so fun!

This little cutie is Jamie...Heather's daughter that loves pink and is a total princess ;)

Weekends

We were lucky enough to have a long weekend off together this past weekend and it was great to have a couple of days to catch up on laundry, cook and do all the little errands that accumulate....we got Jay a new suit and Caleb a new vest, tie, pants ensemble for Rosalyn and Courtney's upcoming wedding in March. It rained on Saturday so Caleb spent a little while out in the back yard mucking it up with his camo rainboots. :)

Santa Photo

We've been super busy this holiday season....The week before Caleb's birthday, I had to go to France for work and then came back on the day of his birthday, rested a day and then flew out to Vancouver for a holiday with the family (which we haven't done in years). This is at my work's Santa Brunch which they hold annually at the Durham Museum of Life Sciences.

Since most of us have little ones and tight budgets that prevent us from going out all the time, we did get a chance to get out for mine and Kristi's birthday dinner at Cafe Luna. It was great to see everybody and the food was yummy :)

Laney's First Birthday

Went to Laney Joy's first birthday at the Steffenella household. It was just like their semi annual party except that now everybody has kids and the party now starts earlier in the day. We got to see so many people that we haven't seen in literally years and of course Caleb had a ball visiting with all the kids. :)

Angela's Shower

We had a surprise shower for Angela's third the other weekend at Kristi's house...she looked GREAT and it was a nice excuse to get a few of the girls together :)

Halloween

This Halloween we went to the Styon neighborhood so that Caleb could trick or treat with Brinley. He had a blast and kept posing in his costume ;D They were running all over the place and afterwards the adults were able to watch a scary movie (Orphan) and the kids watched Coraline and ate through so much candy that by the time we realized it was like..."well, you've gotten this far, a little more's not going to do much worse...go on ahead....stuff your face with candy". :)

State Fair part 1

A few pics of the NC State Fair (part 1)....we went twice this year since we had purchased all these ride tickets for Caleb. This was the first year he was actually tall enough to ride (some of the rides) by himself. His favourite part was the roast corn and the huge icecream!

Hillridge Farms

The Wallaces, Styons, Sherrons (and Sennets of course) all went to Hillridge Farms to ride the train and pick out our pumpkins. It was freezing cold but still a great day :)
