We (Jay, Caleb, Lisa and Toon) all went to Carowinds 2 weeks ago after my Mom and sister went back to Vancouver. Caleb had a BLAST. He was able to ride on the rides and he just fell in love with Lisa. He keeps pointing at the group picture (that Toon bought) and says "See Lisa! See Lisa!"...Thanks to Toon we got the discounted rate and while we weren't able to ride any of the 'big kid rides', it was fun (minus the sunburn that I was left with on my back). Lisa even took Caleb on the lazy river. We also all got a chance to meet Toon's sister and her family..
Caleb got his face painted as "green monster"...kind of like a 'mini-hulk' and Toon got him that ridicously big Diego doll that Caleb insisted be taken with him on some rides. Toon also won toys for all kids present (which is quite a feat since there was 6 kids in total). Remind us to tell the story of Toon shooting hoops at Carowinds for a laugh ;) ...although to give him credit, Lisa says that they went back the next day and he did much better the fourth time 'round. :)
