I swear this isn't me pushing Caleb....he loves to sit there and pound on the keys....he knows how to turn it on/off, volume up/down and he also knows how to turn it to the demo option and have the music play (with the keys lit up) and he pushes the lighted keys along with the music....hmmm.....

A Day Out With The Wagon

It's like I blinked and all of a sudden he's a toddler. The baby to toddler switch has been made and I'm left with this precocious, precious, sneakily smart little boy who giggles, throws tantrum, gets time outs and gives the most amazing hugs.

The Year had Flown By...

This year has flown by....I've just been looking at pictures from Caleb's first State Fair last year and it's amazing how the year has passed so quickly. Seeing Zachary the other day reminded me of how little Caleb was and how we had marked each milestone during his first year and clapped encouragingly with every little wobbly step and each shaky spoonful. Now we've arrived in the era of 'time outs' and outright defiance. I know that he's testing his boundaries and that's what all toddlers need to do to learn but those memories of him cooing and staying still are remembered very fondly.

Now I just can't wait for Caleb to start really talking. We've got one off words here and there and lots of babbling with up and down pitches like it's a real conversation.....and he can point to stuff and do (some of) the stuff that we ask him to do, but I can't wait till our conversations are more elaborate than "more milk?"....

Welcome Baby Zachary!!

Here's Zachary Sherron! He arrived today weighing in at substantial 8lbs 15oz and Heather and Brandon just seem to be the happiest parents on earth. I was lucky enough to be able to visit them at the hospital just mere hours after he arrived and was overwhelmed at how much family there was to support the arrival of Zachary. Heather is doing amazing and looks amazing. Her and Brandon will be bringing baby home on Friday. Zachary really is one of the most anticipated babies and grandma Sheila was virtually in tears the whole time she was holding him. Zachary has made so many people so happy today and he's only been here a few hours. He will undoubtedly be one of the most loved babies ever and he'll be bringing the Sherron and Stone family much love, laughter and tiny baby giggles....

Isn't he just the sweetest thing??

And did I mention that Brandon just won the 'best husband' award? He gifted Heather with diamond earrings upon the arrival of Zachary....he should be giving out lessons...;)

Heather's Baby Shower

We had Heather's Baby Shower this past weekend and everything went off without a hitch. We all can't wait for baby Zachary!!

4am

Just had to post that Mr. Caleb got up at 4am this morning. J came back home after work around that time and Caleb had already been up flip flopping around and laying his head on my arm (which would be cute if it weren't for the fact that it was 4am!)....and then when I got up to go to work at 6am, he was up, walking and talking....poor Daddy....he just came off night shift and Caleb wants to play. Hopefully, he tired himself out and they can both get some shuteye before J enjoys his day off today.
